Nandarani was chanting ten
rounds of Hare Krishna mahamantra daily. Every year
she would increase one round on Gaura Purnima day.
Nandarani loved dressing like
a gopi and used to put leaf-like tilaka on her own from
the age of four.
She knew many slokas from the
Bhagavad-gita and more particularly the enitre twelfth
chapter of the Bhagavad-gita which she recited to H.G.
Sarvaisvarya Das, President, ISKCON at Thiruvananthapuram
at the age of ten.
She did Vrindavana and Govardhana
parikramas bare foot many times.
She used to eagerly participate
in distributing Bhagavad-gitas at factories, railway
stations, commercial establishments and residential
complexes during the Gita distribution Marathon in the
month of December.
Many more glimpses of her spiritual
life find a place in her memory book.
